While I used the original pedals to have an accurate sound reference (even an original Klon), the end result of Colosseum is a unique pedal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe Blues Breaker circuit on another level:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eOn the BB side there is no clipping diodes: forget about the common “issues” that affect a classic BB, such as low volume and dark tone. Removing the clipping diodes will solve them.\u003cbr\u003eI also added our “signature”\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eClean control\u003c\/strong\u003e taken from the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGladio\u003c\/strong\u003e, to add the clean sound on top of the overdriven signal for more tonal versatility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe new Klon’s magic:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eThe Klon side stayed pretty much the same, except for one important detail: the clip blender.\u003cbr\u003eWe all know that the Klon has built quite a reputation around two “mythical” 1N34A\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGermanium diodes\u003c\/strong\u003e. We are still using them, measuring each one of them and picking the ones with the correct value of forward voltage, but… with the addition of a pair of hand selected silicon diodes. With this blend feature you have a wide range of tonal flexibility, an entirely new flavor of Klon at your feet, all while still being able to harness the sound of the original.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003eLooper lovers unite!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eAt the back you have\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4 jacks\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eto connect each side of the pedal with your favorite looper.
