Painstakingly crafted to pay tribute to the legendary sound of Dumble amplifiers, the Dumblifier from DSM & Humboldt is a powerful stereo analog amp sim pedal with a plethora of features for recording and performing in the modern era. Great attention to detail has been paid to not only the sound, but the dynamic reactivity of the pedal, offering extremely organic feel and response that behaves true to the original amplifier. The signal path of the Dumblifier maintains the unique character of the originals with the tone-shaping controls placed before the overdrive circuit to create the most flexible sound.

There are three different cabinet and speaker types to choose from, each offering a variety of different feels depending on your chosen combination. On top of that, the cab size and speaker type can be defined for the left and right output channels independently, giving you the timbral freedom of complex multi-amp recordings, right on your pedal board. If you'd prefer to just bypass the cab sim, this can easily be done for the left and right channel independently via the side panel switches. Instantly modify the feel of the three-band EQ section with the Rock/Jazz switch, allowing you to choose between two vastly different sounding EQ settings. The Mid Boost switch affects the EQ section even further, moving the Mid band down to around 200Hz for a thicker, more complex sound. Make your sound shimmer with the Bright switch, which turns the clean gain knob into a reactive high end control, giving you an additional high frequency parameter—in contrast, the Presence control is a much wider-band boost.

The Dumblifier comes equipped with a versatile stereo reverb engine, giving you access to multiple different vibes. Classic sounds are available in Room and Plate modes, while Ether mode goes into deeper ambient territory with a wide, long-tail spatial reverb. The reverb can be engaged and disengaged via the multifunctional REV/PAB footswitch, which also allows you to activate the PAB (Pre Amp Boost) feature, instantly injecting an additional +9dB into your sound. Get the full depth of this powerful amp sim right in your ears with the onboard 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing you to monitor your sound directly from the pedal, enabling quiet and convenient practice when creativity strikes at 2AM. Additionally, the 3.5mm Aux input allows you to plug your phone or other external sound sources directly into the pedal and hear them via the headphone or main output for playing along to your favorite sounds in the comfort of your mind palace. Expand your tracking capabilities with the stereo DI XLR outputs, which include a handy ground / lift switch for acclimating to any recording or live environment right from the pedal. Easily integrate the Dumblifier into complex pedal boards with the onboard FX loop, providing a 1/4" mono send and stereo TRS returns.
