TWO CHANNELS, ONE RULE: DYNAMICS FIRST.
About the Gladio mk3
The Gladio we retired at the end of 2022 is back. The core is the same: two independent D-style preamps voiced for what happens under your fingers, before the amp. Everything else was rebuilt around two changes owners asked us to make.
The Bass trimpot that lived inside is now outside, improved. Channel 2, the more polarizing voice on the original, now has a Ratio control: a clean blend that restores attack and dynamic range without touching the gain. Same feel where it counted. Everything else, upgraded.
Channel 1: transparent, full clean to dirty from pick attack alone. Channel 2: midrange-forward, harder clipping, radically reshaped by the new Ratio control.
What's new: Ratio control (Ch. 2) — parallel clean blend: clean signal taken at the input, mixed with the overdrive. Restores attack and dynamics without lowering gain.External Bass control — the internal trimpot of the original, now accessible and improved. The most requested upgrade from original owners.30V internal operation — charge pump from a standard 9V supply. More headroom, cleaner transients, amp-like dynamic range.Compression toggles on both channels — selectable feel: tight or open.4-jack routing — one dual-channel pedal, or two fully independent pedals.Remote mini-jack — latching stereo footswitch for channel switching. New build — polished chrome enclosure, brushed metal plate, custom machined metal knobs with dual-color anodizing.Lifetime warranty — plus certificate of authenticity and leather packaging.
