Description

Beautifully broken, on demand.

The Artifakt Lo-fi Elements is Source Audio's love letter to imperfection — a first-of-its-kind pedal built to capture every hazy, scratchy, wobbly, and degraded tone that defines the lo-fi sound. Think of it as a mega-delay or mega-reverb for sonic decay: one compact stompbox housing seven distinct lo-fi engines, each voiced and engineered like a standalone pedal in its own right.

Seven engines, endless character Twist the selector knob and step through eras of sound: Radio conjures the static and drifting signal of a half-tuned AM set. Tape recreates the wow, flutter, saturation, and pitch wobble of a vintage reel machine. Vinyl adds authentic crackle, dust, and needle-drop scratch. µVerb delivers the bouncy, primitive echo of an 8-bit game console. Crush and Ladder push into bit-depth reduction and resonant filtering for glitchy, degraded digital textures, while Glitch fragments your signal in real time for stuttering, randomized chaos.

Deep, hands-on control Four sculpting knobs — Destruct, Vary, Filter, and Mod — reshape each engine differently depending on which one is active, so the same four controls can dial in delicate tape warmth one moment and full digital breakdown the next. Dual footswitches handle bypass, preset scrolling, and engine-specific functions, and the pedal ships with 16 onboard presets ready to use out of the box.

Go deeper with Neuro 3 Pair the Artifakt with Source Audio's free Neuro 3 software (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android) to unlock full parameter editing, save up to 128 presets, and pull from a growing library of thousands of factory and community sounds. Real-time MIDI control means you can automate lo-fi mayhem live or from a DAW.

Built for guitar, bass, keys, and beyond With true stereo I/O, switchable true bypass or active analog operation, and rock-solid build quality, the Artifakt fits naturally into any rig — whether you're adding subtle tape warmth to a keyboard part or pushing a guitar signal into full glitched-out disintegration.

If it's hazy, scratchy, wobbly, or beautifully broken — the Artifakt Lo-fi Elements has it covered.
